Bridges Not Bombs
Ten years ago this week, the U.S. declared a war in Afghanistan. A decade later, it's hard to imagine what our country would be like without this war. Nothing can replace the thousands of brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and friends - Americans, Afghans and everyone else - who have been killed or injured in this, the longest war in American history.
But to honor what we've lost, what we could have had, and what we can still accomplish if our leaders bring a quick and responsible end to the war, we’ve made this quick infographic on the war’s cost.
Will you help us honor this anniversary and call for a new and more peaceful course by sharing it with your friends and family online?
